The Caspian Policy Center (CPC) will host its 9th Annual Trans-Caspian Forum, "Economic Security through Peace and Durable Partnerships," on June 10 in Washington, DC, at the National Press Club. This year marks ten years of CPC bringing the Greater Caspian Region to the center of American policy conversations. Building on that work, the forum will examine the region's increasingly pivotal role on the world stage, with a focus on energy, connectivity, and critical minerals. With U.S. interest in the Greater Caspian Region rising faster than ever, these issues have taken on new urgency for American policymakers and businesses alike.
Headlining the forum, Senator Steve Daines of Montana will deliver a policy speech on the strategic importance of the Greater Caspian Region to U.S. interests. The forum will also gather senior leaders from the region and U.S. officials, including representatives from the State Department and the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation, to explore the evolving strategic relationship between the United States and the Greater Caspian Region. Beyond the official perspective, international business leaders will offer a practical outlook, sharing insight into implementation, investment, and the commercial realities shaping the region's growth. Across the event, panels will address timely issues including the Middle Corridor; artificial intelligence applications and digitization; critical minerals development; and energy security.
