Caspian Policy Center Hosts Discussion with Foreign Policy Advisor to the President of Azerbaijan Hikmet Hajiyev

On June 7, the Caspian Policy Center hosted a discussion on Azerbaijan’s foreign policy outlook with Hikmet Hajiyev, Foreign Policy Advisor to the President of Azerbaijan. Senior fellow and former U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan (2015-2018) Robert F. Cekuta moderated the discussion. The event, which took place under Chatham House Rule, was attended by members from the think tank, academic, business, and policy making communities. Topics discussed included implications of Russia’s war in Ukraine, negotiations with Armenia, energy and trade routes, and relations with Central Asia, the EU, and the United States.
