Uzbek president to pay state visit to Kazakhstan
Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a state visit to Kazakhstan on March 22-23 at the invitation of the country’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev, Uzbekistan’s national news agency (UzA) reported.
The current state and prospects of development of Uzbek-Kazakh relations in political, trade, economic, investment, transport, communication, cultural and humanitarian, and other spheres, as well as topical issues of regional and international agenda will be discussed during Mirziyoyev’s meetings and high-level negotiations.
As part of the visit, it is also planned to hold Uzbekistan’s national industrial exhibition in Astana and a joint business forum with participation of delegations of the two countries’ businesses.
A package of bilateral documents of interstate, intergovernmental and interdepartmental nature, as well as big commercial contracts, aimed to bring the Uzbek-Kazakh cooperation to a qualitatively new level, are also planned to be signed during the visit.
