Roundtable: Caspian Security and U.S. Diplomacy
On September 12, the Caspian Policy Center hosted a roundtable to discuss security issues in the Caspian region. United States’ national security strategy was analyzed in regard to its role with the states located in the South Caucuses and Central Asia, as well as the countries surrounding them. The roundtable commenced with the participants providing recommendations and strategies to promote U.S. diplomacy in the region. The talk featured retired State Department officials, representatives from the media, regional experts, and retired U.S. military officials.
