Caspian Policy Center (CPC) invites interested scholars, experts, diplomats and business leaders, whose concentration involves the Caspian region, to participate in our research award. Submitted articles must be 3000 words (8-10 pages) original, thought-provoking, unpublished pieces and adhere to the conventions of the Chicago Manual Style. Along with the manuscript, the applicants should also include their name, email, university or affiliation, a short bio, a CV and the title of their paper with an abstract of 250 words or less.
CPC will award selected researchers and publish the winning essays. CPC Research Award entails a prize for the individuals making a unique contribution to the scholarly understanding of the Caspian region. The awardees will be selected by the CPC advisory board.
The total prize for the top essay is $1000. The second and third ones will receive a prize of $750 and $500 accordingly.
The top three awardees will also be offered a CPC non-resident fellowship affiliation for three to six months.
The deadline for the receipt of the papers is March 10, 2018.
Submitted papers will be reviewed by the advisory board and the authors will be notified by March 20, 2018.
Selected manuscripts will go through a series of editorial modification.
